Scottish Offshore Service Provider Praised by Charity Group
Trinity International Services, a Scottish independent offshore catering provider, has been named as one of Scottish charity Erskine’s 100 Heroes for 100 Years.
Erskine, which provides nursing, residential, respite and dementia care for UK veterans and their spouses in its four care homes in Scotland, celebrated its centenary year in 2016. It has been awarding medals to 100 individuals and organizations who have gone ‘above and beyond’ to support the cause throughout the last hundred years.
Trinity International Services is being honoured for providing a specially adapted seven-seater vehicle for transporting veterans from their own homes to creative gardening therapy sessions, hospital appointments and outings designed to improve their quality of life.
“Erskine is a vital organization which provides essential support to veterans across Scotland who have made a significant sacrifice for our country,” Stuart MacBride, chairman of Trinity International Services, said in a company statement.
"The charity offers life-enhancing opportunities for veterans, many of whom live with the physical and mental aftereffects of their service, and the entire Trinity International Services family is proud to support the cause,” he added.
