Sound Energy: Badile Exploration Well Drilling Commences

Sound Energy confirmed Wednesday that the drilling of the Badile exploration well, onshore Italy, has commenced.

Located in Northern Italy, the exploration well will test the hydrocarbon potential of the Conchodon Dolomite reservoir of Lower Jurassic-Triassic age.

The well is planned to be drilled and logged to a total depth of 14,583 feet, with drilling and logging expected to take approximately 100 days. Assuming gas is encountered, a further 25 days will be required for the completion and testing phase.
