PSA Grants Aker BP Consent to Connect Oda to Ula Field

Petroleum Safety Authority Norway has granted Aker BP consent to connect the Oda field, located in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea, to the Ula field.

The Oda field, for which Centrica Resources is the operator, is to be developed as a subsea facility tied back to the Ula field, where Aker BP is the operator.

Oda was discovered in 2011, and the plan for development and operation (PDO) for the field was submitted to the authorities in November 2016. Production is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2019.
