DOF Group Axes Over 700 Employees in 2016
Oil and gas offshore services firm DOF Group revealed Friday that it reduced its headcount by 742 employees during 2016, as a result of cost cutting measures.
The cuts were implemented due to “reduced activity and management of fewer vessels,” according to a statement from the company.
As of Dec. 31, 2016, DOF Group’s personnel comprised 4,072 people. The marine personnel includes 2,508 people, while 1,278 people are employed within the group’s subsea segment and 286 are employed onshore conducting marine management.
