New Joint Project in Norway Aims to Ensure Global Competitiveness

A new KonKraft project has been launched to ensure value creation, jobs and global competitiveness for the Norwegian oil and gas industry over the long term.

KonKraft is a collaboration arena for the Norwegian Oil Industry Association, the Norwegian Shipowners' Association and the Federation of Norway (LO), with LO unions Federation and Industri Energi.

The new project includes representatives from Statoil, Wintershall and Maersk Drilling and Subsea 7. The first report under the new initiative is expected to be delivered by Jan. 1, 2018.
