IKM Secures Services Contract for Culzean Project

IKM Group has announced that it has secured a contract with Subsea 7 for services work on the Culzean field in the UK central North Sea.

This award was described by IKM as a significant win for the company in an extremely competitive environment.

IKM’s contract win follows Subsea 7’s subsea, umbilical, riser and flowline (SURF) contract award by Maersk Oil. The company will make and install underwater equipment for the new Culzean gas field in the central North Sea.

Culzean, one of the largest gas discoveries offshore UK, is located in Block 22/25 of the central North Sea at a water depth of approximately 295 feet. Engineering works have already commenced for the Maersk Oil Culzean project, with the first phase of offshore operations due to commence in Q2 2017.
