SOFF Secures Services Contract for Jangkrik Project in Indonesia

Solstad Offshore ASA (SOFF) has entered into a contract with PT. Saipem Indonesia for offshore installation work on the Jangkrik FPU.

In addition to utilizing the CSV Normand Installer, SOFF will provide project management, procurement and logistics support to the project through its Marine Projects group in Singapore and Skudeneshavn, Norway.

Jangkrik FPU is a part of Jangkrik Complex Project, which is operated by Eni Muara Bakau B.V. as contractor to SKK Migas, the Indonesian Upstream Oil and Gas Agency. Eni holds a 55 percent interest in the project. Other Jangkrik partners are ENGIE (33.3 percent) and PT. Saka Energi Muara Bakau (11.7 percent).

An EPCI contract for the project was awarded to a consortium led by PT Saipem Indonesia, which includes Hyundai Heavy Industries, PT Tripatra Engineers & Constructors and PT Chiyoda International Indonesia.

Execution of the offshore work in Indonesia will start in the second quarter of 2017 and, including transit, the duration of work for the Normand Installer will be about 100 days.
