Report: No Redundancies at CHC Following Apache Contract Loss

Offshore helicopter operator CHC will not make any redundancies following the loss of a major contract, the BBC reported Wednesday.

Despite the commitment, CHC said it couldn’t rule out job losses in the future, according to the BBC. The helicopter company’s vow to keep jobs comes after oil firm Apache decided not to renew an agreement with CHC.

The BBC quoted the helicopter operator as saying that the Apache contract accounted for less than a fifth of its business.
