Total Indonesia Unit Sees Lower Gas Output At Mahakam Block In 2017

JAKARTA, Dec 7 (Reuters) - Total E&P Indonesie, a unit of French oil major Total, said it expects gas output at its Mahakam block to be 1.43 billion cubic feet per day (bcfd) in 2017 against 1.64 bcfd this year.

"Next year Mahakam is in decline. This year our realization was higher than estimated," Arividya Noviyanto, a communications official at Total E&P Indonesie, told reporters.

Oil production at the block is expected to be 53,000 barrels per day (bpd) in 2017 against 64,000 bpd this year.
