Valmec Clinches Supply, Construction Contracts in Australia's East Coast
Valmec Ltd., an Australian energy and multi-discipline services group, reported Friday that it has clinched supply and construction contracts with 2 major gas producers in Australia.
The company did not provide specific details about the contracts apart from indicating that it will continue to work closely with a number of oil and gas explorers and producers in Australia's East Coast to develop their upstream gas infrastructure development programs.
"We are delighted to have secured these strategic contracts within the Queensland CSG (coal seam gas) sector and look forward to further expanding our Project Construction capabilities in the region complementing our already established Services business footprint," Valmec Managing Director Steve Dropulich said in the press release.
Valmec did not reveal the value of these oil and gas contracts although they were part of the $7.7 million (AUD 10.1 million) deals which included a new government infrastructure work project in Western Australia.
