COSL Completes its First Exploration Assignment in the Far East

China Oilfield Services Ltd. (COSL), a subsidiary of state-owned China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC), reported that the company has successfully completed its first exploration operation in the Far East, opening up a potential new revenue stream for the firm in the region.

COSL deployed HYS7918 for the contract, with the seismic vessel successfully completing the assignment in difficult weather conditions although the company did not reveal the identity of the client nor the location of the operations.

“The successful completion of this operation is a model case demonstrating the Company’s international operation capability,” COSL said in the press release.
