Russia's Bashneft Stake Preliminarily Valued At $3B

MOSCOW, Aug 3 (Reuters) - The Russian government's stake in oil company Bashneft is seen worth $3 billion, according to a preliminary valuation, Russian news agencies quoted First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov as saying on Wednesday.

The government plans to sell its 50.08 percent stake in the mid-sized oil producer this year as part of a wider privatisation of state assets.
