OGDCL Makes New Gas Discovery in Pakistan

Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has discovered gas condensate from exploratory well Bitrism West 01-A, located in Sanghar District, Sindh Province, Pakistan.

Bitrism West 01-A was drilled down to a depth of 13,812 feet and flowed 290 barrels per day of condensate and 4.3 million cubic feet of gas per day through 32/64" choke. The discovery has “opened up a new avenue” according to OGDCL.

The well is operated by OGDCL, which has a 95 percent interest in the asset. The remaining five percent is owned by Government Holdings (Pvt.) Limited.
