Norwegian Production Figures Decline M-O-M

Norway’s total oil and gas production declined month-on-month, according to preliminary figures from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD).

Figures for May show an average daily production of about 1.94 million barrels of oil, NGL and condensate, which is 87,000 barrels per day, or 4 percent, less than April this year.

The average daily liquid production in May was 1.54 million barrels of oil, 360,000 barrels of NGL and 35,000 barrels of condensate. Oil production was around 2 percent above oil production in May last year and around 1.5 percent above the NPD’s prognosis for the month.
