Beach Energy Names Morne Engelbrecht as CFO to Replace Kathryn Presser
Australia's Beach Energy Ltd. announced Thursday that Morne Engelbrecht, the current CEO of Carbon Energy Ltd., will become the company's chief financial officer commencing Aug. 29, replacing Kathryn Presser.
Engelbrecht, a Chartered Accountant with experience in the oil, gas and resource sectors across various jurisdictions, including Australia, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Papua New Guinea and China, has been CEO of Carbon Energy since 2013. Prior to Carbon Energy, Engelbrecht had held various financial, commercial and advisory senior management positions at InterOil, Lihir Gold and PwC.
