'Significant Gas Shows' at Tendrara

European/Mediterranean focused upstream gas company Sound Energy has identified “significant gas shows” at the first Tendrara well, onshore Morocco.

Drilled to a measured vertical depth of 2,665 metres, the well hit a total gross pay interval of 89 metres of gas. The full set of acquired logs at the well will be now processed before the company proceeds with planned rigless operations to mechanically stimulate the reservoir followed by a well test.

The rig used to drill the well will now de-mobilise from the TE6 location and move to the already prepared TE7 site on stand-by.
