KazMunaiGas EP Oil Output Flat In First Quarter

MOSCOW, April 27 (Reuters) - KazMunaiGas Exploration and Production, Kazakhstan's third-largest oil producer, said it produced 3.043 million of tons of crude oil (247,000 barrels per day) in the first quarter of 2016, almost unchanged on the year.

The London-listed company, which is part of Kazakh state oil and gas company KazMunaiGas, said that output at its major Ozenmunaigas operation totalled 1.387 million tons (112,000 bpd), up 4 percent from last year.

The company's share in production from Kazgermunai, Karazhanbasmunai and PetroKazakhstan Inc. for the first quarter amounted to 954,000 tons of crude oil, a year-on-year decline of 6 percent.
