KCA Confirms Plans to Hire 300 Workers in Norway

A spokesperson at drilling and engineering contractor KCA Deutag confirmed that the company is looking to hire 300 workers in Norway.

The KCA spokesperson told Rigzone that the recruits, who will need to be Norwegian speakers, will work on one of two rigs operating within country’s continental shelf.

“We are looking to recruit Norwegian speaking staff in Norway for two category-J jack-up rigs that are going to be operating in the Norwegian Continental Shelf,” said the KCA spokesperson.

When asked whether the company had any additional plans to recruit oil and gas workers, the spokesperson informed Rigzone that KCA had nothing planned for the immediate future.
