Touchstone Resources Begins Work on Louisiana Shelf Project



Touchstone Resources is using the Parker Drilling jackup, PD-15, to commence drilling on a 13,500 foot test on Block 4 on its 1,800 acre prospect in East Cameron Parish, Louisiana located offshore in the Gulf of Mexico.

Touchstone is the operator of and owns a 25% working interest in the Louisiana Shelf project. Touchstone's geological and engineering staff has done extensive 3-D seismic analysis in order to choose its Block 4 location for drilling the well. The well will take approximately 35 days to drill and complete and will target reserves up to 20 Billion Cubic Feet in this and adjacent offsetting wells.
