MOSCOW, March 17 (Reuters) - Russia's top oil producer Rosneft plans to boost exploration drilling by 40 percent this year compared to 2015, the Rossiiskaya Gazeta daily on Thursday quoted Russian Natural Resources Minister Sergei Donskoi as saying in an interview.

In general, Russian oil and gas companies do not expect a critical decrease in their geological exploration works, Donskoi said. "It (exploration drilling) is forecast at the level of 2015," he said.
