Warro-5 in WA Begins Flowing Gas Naturally

Australia’s Transerv Energy announced Friday that Warro-5 well in Western Australia has begun to flow gas naturally following the removal of the jet pump from the wellbore.

Warro-5’s initial flow rate was over 4 million cubic feet per day during its first 18 hours online. This rate later stabilized at approximately 0.45 million cubic feet per day, which is consistent with those achieved during jet pump operations, according to a company statement. The accompanying water rates are declining and are presently 315 barrels of water per day.

Testing at Warro-6 continues with a gas rate averaging 0.7 million cubic feet per day, with water rates below 300bwpd and decreasing.
