Lukoil Granted Right to Explore D33 Oil Field in Baltic Sea

Lukoil-Kaliningradmorneft, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PJSC Lukoil, has been granted the right to use the D33 oil field in the Baltic Sea for the purpose of hydrocarbon exploration and production.

The D33 field was discovered in 2015 and includes an exploration well which was drilled from a Russian-made jack-up drilling rig.

D33 contains recoverable oil reserves of 21.2 million tons, or 151.4 million barrels of oil equivalent, according to a Lukoil statement.
