Tullow Monitoring Potential Turret Bearing Issue at Jubilee FPSO

Tullow Oil plc is implementing additional operating procedures to monitor a turret bearing from the Jubilee Floating Production Storage and Offtake vessel (FPSO), following a recent inspection.

The inspection, which was carried out by the original turret manufacturer SOFEC, identified a potential issue with the bearing. As a precautionary measure, SOFEC will undertake further offshore examinations to determine what further measures will be required.

Oil production and gas export from the vessel is continuing as normal, according to a Tullow Oil statement.
