Hurricane Energy CFO to Retire

UK Continental Shelf-focused junior oil firm Hurricane Energy announced Monday that its chief financial officer, Nicholas Mardon-Taylor, will retire on January 31.

Hurricane said that a process to identify a new CFO is underway and a further announcement will be made when appropriate.

Hurricane Chief Executive Dr Robert Trice commented in a company statement:

"Nicholas has been with Hurricane from the start and throughout a period in which we have achieved very significant milestones which have set us on a path towards Lancaster field development. We are enormously grateful for his contributions and wish him very well in his retirement."
