San Leon Takeover Talks Terminated

The board of San Leon announced Thursday that takeover talks with an unnamed potential offeror have come to an end.

Speculation regarding the acquisition of San Leon first emerged in August last year, when the company confirmed that it had received an approach from a “possible offeror”. The interested party, which has remained unidentified throughout the entire process, failed to make an offer for San Leon and instead decided to terminate all discussions with the company regarding a possible takeover.

Commenting on the latest development, a San Leon statement on the company’s website said:

“San Leon continues to advance its existing portfolio and to explore other opportunities, and looks forward to updating shareholders shortly.”
