Bowleven Completes Flow Tests on Bomono Wells Onshore Cameroon

Africa-focused junior oil and gas firm Bowleven reported Friday that its extended flow test program at the Moambe and Zingana wells, on the Bomono Permit onshore Cameroon, is now complete. The company said that results to date continue to support its plans for an initial supply of between five and six million cubic feet of gas per day for power generation under a development scheme formulated with its partners, Actis and Eneo.

The initial development scheme is focused on the provision of feedstock for power generation from the shallower gas-prone sands on the permit. The block-wide evaluation of these sands and the additional potential of deeper sands, which the wells are also targeting, is ongoing, Bowleven added.

Bowleven Chief Executive Kevin Hart commented in a company statement:

"We are pleased with the results of the extended flow testing program at Bomono and are now looking forward to advancing gas sales negotiations and development planning."
