North West Europe-focused energy company Atlantic Petroleum has seen an output reduction following a decision to go into default on the Ettrick and Blackbird fields.
The exploration and production firm, which is preparing an offer to exit the Ettrick and Blackbird fields, produced a net total of 25,000 barrels of oil equivalents from the Chestnut field during December, which marked a lower output rate than previous months.
Atlantic Petroleum produced a net total of 37,000 barrels of oil equivalents from the Chestnut, Ettrick and Blackbird fields in November. The company’s total output was approximately 471,000 barrels of oil equivalents in 2015.
