Malaysia's Icon Offshore Receives $12.1M LOA to Supply PSV to KPOC
Malaysia's Icon Offshore Berhad disclosed Tuesday that its subsidiary Icon Offshore Group Sdn Bhd (IOGSB) has received a letter of award (LOA) from Borneo Seaoffshore Sdn Bhd to provide a deepwater platform supply vessel for Kebabangan Petroleum Operating Company Sdn Bhd (KPOC), the company said in a filing with local stock exchange Bursa Malaysia.
Work on the two year contract, valued at $12.1 million (MYR 51 million), commenced Nov 12, 2015, with Borneo Seaoffshore holding an option to extend the deal for the platform supply vessel by one year.
Last month, IOGSB secured a $1.8 million (MYR 7.7 million) contract from ExxonMobil Exploration & Production Malaysia Inc. (EMEPMI) to supply two anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels for the latter's operations offshore Malaysia.
