Transerv Continues to Find Strong Gas Shows at Warro-6 Well in WA

Transerv Energy Ltd. reported Wednesday that Warro-6 well at the Warro gas field in Western Australia has reached total depth of 14,829 feet (4,520 meters) rotary table (RT) and is presently preparing to run wireline logs prior to setting 5.5 inch casing.

Warro-6 continued to encounter strong gas shows to the base of the well. The bottom of the main reservoir section was reached at 14,641 feet (4,462.5 meters) RT at the top of a regional shale unit. The well has confirmed a gross pay section in the lower Yarragadee of 13,606-14,641 feet (4,147-4,462.5 meters) RT, thereby extending the interpeted gas column for the field another 371 feet (113 meters) below the lowest known gas seen in Warro-5. In addition, the well encountered further strong gas shows with fluorescence between 14,708 feet (4,483 meters) RT and total depth. This deeper unit provides another objective for future wells in the field.

A full report on the well results will be provided once the electric logs have been interpreted.

Warro-5 and Warro-6 results will now be analyzed in details and the reservoir stimulation and testing program designed to confirm the gas potential of the numerous reservoir intervals the wells have encountered.
