Bilfinger Salamis UK announced Tuesday that it has been awarded a five year services contract on the UK Continental Shelf, by an unnamed company, worth over $100 million.
Although the name of the company awarding the contract was not disclosed, Bilfinger said in a statement that it was an agreement with one of its “largest existing clients”. As part of the contract Bilfinger will provide industrial coatings, access solutions, specialist cleaning, architectural outfitting and decommissioning support services. Bilfinger will work on the client’s assets in the Southern and Central North Sea, as well as one onshore facility.
Sandy Bonner, operations director at Bilfinger Salamis UK, commented in a company statement:
"This award builds on a successful relationship with the client, and allows us to build on our excellent LTI (lost time injury) free safety record."
