Ascent Resources Appoints Interim CEO

Ascent Resources announced Friday that its finance director Colin Hutchinson has become the company’s interim chief executive, following Len Reece’s decision to resign.

With the support of Ascent’s non-executive directors, Hutchinson will lead the day-to-day activities of the company. Ascent Resources announced on August 17, 2015 that Len Reece had resigned as a director. Following further discussions between Reece and the company, Reece’s employment was terminated on September 2015.

Commenting on the management changes, Ascent Resources stated:

“The board of Ascent would like to extend its thanks and appreciation for Len's work in leading the company over the past three years. Len oversaw the move from a collection of disparate assets spread over five countries to a focus on its prime Slovenian asset. More recently he has been instrumental in moving the IPPC permit forwards. We wish Len well for the future.”
