Peak Oil & Gas Appoints New Non-Executive Director

Southeast Asia focused junior oil and gas company Peak Oil & Gas Limited announced Tuesday the appointment of Peter Armitage as an independent non-executive director, effective August 17, 2015.

Armitage has served on the boards of numerous oil and gas resources companies over more than 20 years, including Strategic Energy Resources Limited, Oroya Mining Limited and Bass Strait Oil Company Limited. Following the resignation of Jeff Steketee and Jum Durrant, the Peak board is now comprised of Geoffrey Albers, Rae Clark and Peter Armitage.

In a company press release, Peak Oil & Gas stated:

"Mr Jeff Steketee and Mr Jim Durrant have resigned as directors of Peak effective 17 August, in order to pursue other interests. The board thanks them for their service to the company and wishes them well in their future endeavours."
