San Leon Energy Non-Executive Director Resigns

San Leon Energy announced Monday that its long-standing non-executive director Jeremy Boak has resigned, after accepting a position as a director of the Oklahoma Geological Survey at The University of Oklahoma.

Boak was “unable to act as a director of an oil and gas company” in his new role, according to a San Leon press release, and his resignation was effective July 24, 2015.

Oisin Fanning, San Leon executive director, commented in a company statement:

“Jeremy has been involved with San Leon Energy from the beginning and his expertise on shale development has been fundamental to our growth and success over the years. Whilst Jeremy must obviously be impartial in his new role, his knowledge will be available to us, on an open basis, when we need it. I, on behalf of the board, would like to thank Jeremy for his contribution to the company and wish him every success in his new assignment.”
