CB&I Secures Maintenance Contract worth $60 Million
Oil and gas services firm CB&I announced Thursday that it has been awarded a contract worth approximately $60 million by a major energy company to provide maintenance services for three separate oil sands facilities in Alberta, Canada.
CB&I did not state the name of the energy company it secured the contract from. Earlier this month, the engineering, procurement and construction company was awarded a maintenance contract from a “leading hydrocarbon operator for long-term maintenance at its facilities in Peru”, according to a CB&I press release.
Chip Ray, the president of CB&I's capital services operating group, commented in a company statement:
"For more than 40 years, CB&I has provided the highest levels of safety, planning and execution in Canada's oil sands region. This new award underscores the confidence our customer places in CB&I's ability to deliver real-time reliability and performance."
