Frontera Hits 1 Million Hours Safety Milestone
Junior energy firm Frontera Resources announced Friday that during the month of June 2015 the company surpassed more than one million hours worked, throughout its operations, without any recordable injuries.
Frontera also revealed that its employees and contractors have recorded a total of nearly four million hours, over the past seven years, in exploration, production and drilling operations, with only one occupational injury.
Steve C. Nicandros, Frontera Resources chairman and chief executive officer, commented in a company statement:
"Frontera’s commitment to ‘zero harm’ in our health and safety objectives is at the foundation of all we do. Having achieved this important milestone is a testament to the focused dedication of our employees and contractors who have successfully advanced a culture of ‘safety-first’ as a top priority. Given the scope and scale of our operations, it is with great pride that I am able to highlight this important accomplishment by our family of professionals who lead the way in safely executing our work each and every day."
