Bowleven CEO Urges Companies to be Opportunistic while Costs are Low

Bowleven CEO Kevin Hart urged oil and gas exploration companies to be opportunistic while costs are low during a presentation at Friday's Shore Capital Exploration & Production Conference in London.

Encouraging a counter cyclical investment strategy, Hart was advising attendees at the conference to invest high when the oil price was low and low when the oil price was high. In a technical presentation, the Bowleven CEO also told those present at the show to exercise capital discipline and expand their portfolios with only “very attractive opportunities”.

Bowleven recently commenced drilling operations on the Zingana exploration well on the Bomono Permit, onshore Cameroon. Zingana is the first of two wells planned as part of the company’s 2015 exploration program.
