KCA, Rigzone to Host Houston Energy Breakfast on Unconventional Updates

KCA (K Carpenter Associates) together with Rigzone announce the Houston Energy Breakfast on June 12, 2015 at the Westin Oaks Galleria hotel. This forum came together by industry veterans for the sole purpose of providing a platform for the energy community to exchange ideas, network and provide an informative outlook on the industry’s opportunities and challenges through the eyes of an accomplished senior level panel. The Houston Energy Breakfast is a series of four themed events happening during 2015. Registration information at www.houstonenergybreakfast.com

“The Houston Energy Breakfast is the place to connect with Houston’s energy influencers. The slate of programs for 2015 is substantive and PKF Texas is proud to be a sponsor,” said Kenneth Guidry, CPA, President, Pannell Kerr Forster of Texas, P.C. (PKF Texas).

The theme of the June 12th Houston Energy Breakfast is “The Unconventional Revolution”. The expert panel will present a view on top of mind issues, concerns and predictions.

  • Reagan (R.T.) Dukes, Research Director, Wood Mackenzie is the official 2015 Event Economist and will speak at all four events. At the podium at the previous event on April 17, 2015, R.T. stated that “The front of the supply curve remains profitable despite the price fall; nearly all major plays are commercial at our 2018 price forecast”. He will take the podium again on June 12th to give his view on the next quarter.
  • Gary Willingham, Executive Vice President, Noble Energy takes the podium with perfect timing to elaborate on the future with their recent $2 billion acquisition of Rosetta Resources and how that will give them an entry into the Eagle Ford Shale field and the Permian Basin oil and gas region.
  • Jim Summers, Partner, Environmental Resource Management (ERM) will the inform the audience on “Viewing Sustainability” within the Unconventionals through a different set of lenses – trends, challenges, and opportunities for the future.
  • David Lee, Vice President Americas, Rigzone, will give an update on the never-ending search for specific people in the industry – with specifics on the state of the job market as related to the current conditions.

Non-Profit Beneficiaries:

10% of net proceeds from the Houston Energy Breakfast benefit Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas, a non-profit organization that inspires young people to dream big and reach their potential by using hands-on experience that teaches workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy.
