TAQA Appoints Grant Gillon as Acting CFO

Abu Dhabi-based TAQA announced Thursday that it has appointed Grant Gillon as its acting chief financial officer. He replaces Ryan Wong, who is retiring.

Gillon, who currently serves as executive vice president of TAQA's portfolio, will take up the role on May 1, 2015. He qualified as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in London.

TAQA Chief Operating Officer Edward LaFehr:

"Ryan leaves behind a strong finance team fully capable under Grant’s proven leadership skills to continue spearheading our efforts to reduce our capital and total cash costs while improving our balance sheet.

"Ryan has been an integral member of the leadership team for the past eight years and I wish him and his family the best in their well-deserved retirement."
