KPOC Awards Kebabangan Topside Maintenance Services Contract to PBJV

Barakah Offshore Petroleum Berhad's wholly-owned subsidiary company PBJV Group Sdn Bhd (PBJV) received a Letter of Award from Kebabangan Petroleum Operating Company Sdn Bhd (KPOC) to provide topside maintenance services for the Kebabangan project offshore Sabah, Malaysia, the company said Friday in a filing with local stock exchange Bursa Malaysia.

The contract is for a duration of one year from April 2 and KPOC holds an option to extend the deal for a further one year. PBJV is expected to mobilize for work May 1.

"The total value of the Contract will depend on the actual work orders to be issued by KPOC from time to time during the Contract period," Barakah Offshore said in the announcement.
