Dutch offshore jack-up rig manager Seafox announced Tuesday that it has appointed Martin Adler as its new Group CEO. Adler succeeds Robert Duncan, who will step down at the end of the year to pursue other interests, the firm said.
Seafox said that it expects Adler to play a "critical role" as the company seeks to diversify its role in the offshore support marine industry. Adler has 24 years' experience in operations, sales and marketing across a variety of energy, offshore and onshore sectors.
A statement issued by Seafox's board of directors said:
"We are extremely pleased to have Martin join the team at Seafox. He is a highly regarded executive in the energy industry and his extensive sales and operations track record including business strategies are extremely beneficial to the strategic direction of the company in the coming years. Our ability to attract a seasoned professional like Martin speaks to the potential of Seafox."
