The Ferguson Group Singapore, global specialists in the provision of offshore DNV 2.7-1/EN12079 containers, tanks, baskets, reefers, workspace modules and accommodation solutions, announced Wednesday the company is meeting the market requirements with further investment in its South East Asia fleet.
Headquartered in Loyang Offshore Supply Base, Ferguson Group Singapore continues its expansion in the region, with an increase in its Malaysian based fleet.
The Malaysian fleet is based in two yards, Labuan Supply Base (ASB) and West Malaysia’s Kemaman Supply Base (KSB). Along with bases in Singapore and partners in Thailand, Brunei, Indonesia and Vietnam, Ferguson Group Singapore is well placed to meet the needs of the buoyant South East Asia energy sector.
Simon de Koning, business unit manager, Ferguson Group Singapore said: “We can provide a quick response to our South East Asia clients, with our wide variety of units, exactly where they are needed. Being in the heart of the offshore industry, we understand the issues our clients face and can work to alleviate them.”
The demand for Ferguson Group Singapore’s fleet of DNV 2.7-1/EN 12079 cargo carrying units, has led to the decision to base more stock in Malaysia including Zone 2 workspace modules and refrigerated modules from IceBlue Refrigeration Offshore, enabling units to be hired at very short notice.
de Koning: “ We are moving workspace modules as well as reefer units to our Malaysian bases. Coupled with the wide range of CCUs available from all our partners Ferguson Group Singapore will be ideally located to offer a faster response time for deploying assets to clients”
