Alam Lands Contract for Repair, Maintenance Project in Kedah, Malaysia

Alam Maritim Resources Berhad reported Thursday that Alam Hidro (M) Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned unit of the firm held through Alam Maritim (M) Sdn Bhd, had received a Letter of Award from a local main contractor to provide air/saturation diving services for inshore repair and maintenance project in Kedah, Peninsular Malaysia.

The contract value is approximately $2.75 million (MYR 10 million), the company said in a filing with local stock exchange Bursa Malaysia.

Work on the contract will commence Feb. 15, with completion scheduled for March 31.
