CB&I Kentz JV Extends Contract with AusGroup for LNG Projects in Australia
AusGroup Limited (AusGroup) through its subsidiary MAS Australasia Pty Ltd (MAS), a leading provider of scaffolding and associated services for construction and maintenance projects in the mining, oil & gas and infrastructure sectors, announced Tuesday it has been awarded a $55.62 million (AUD 68.5 million) contract extension with CB&I Kentz Joint Venture (CKJV) for liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects in Australia.
MAS will continue to provide ongoing scaffold services, including the provision of key MAS management personnel, scaffold design and engineering and coordination assistance through the supply of labor services.
Stuart Kenny, CEO and Managing Director said: “We are pleased to be able to continue working with our LNG Clients. AusGroup is well positioned to take advantage of its association with the LNG industry in Australia as our order book continues to strengthen.
As a leading provider of access services in Australia, MAS is well placed to continue to deliver for our clients within the LNG construction and maintenance phase.”
With the award of this contract, AusGroup’s order book now stands at $394.72 million (AUD 486 million).
