ReedHycalog Names Two New Vice Presidents

Cody Scace has been named Vice President Operations and Robin Macmillan Vice President Sales and Marketing at ReedHycalog, ReedHycalog President John Deane announced. ReedHycalog is the drill bit business unit of Grant Prideco, Inc. (NYSE: GRP).

Previously SCACE was Vice President Sales and Marketing at ReedHycalog. He succeeds David Black who was named President of Grant Prideco's Tubular Technology and Services business unit earlier this year.

Scace was Vice President Operations for Reed from 1999 to 2000 and then Vice President Operations for Schlumberger's Roller Cone products in 2001. Grant Prideco acquired ReedHycalog from Schlumberger in 2002. Scace was with Reed Tool Company from 1980-1994, serving as Sales Manager North America from 1991-94.

MACMILLAN was most recently the Western Hemisphere Operations Manager for ReedHycalog and in charge of all sales operations in North and South America. He has been with ReedHycalog for more than 13 years and has 28 years' experience in the oil and gas industry.

Macmillan began his career with ReedHycalog in Aberdeen, Scotland, and eventually headed ReedHycalog's Great Yarmouth operations. He moved to Venezuela in 1995 and progressed through various positions there.

Macmillan was promoted to Regional Manager for Canada in 2000. Before moving to Houston, he was Drilling & Measurements Operations Manager for Schlumberger in Canada.
