CSTS Lands FEED Contract for BP's Tangguh Expansion Project in Indonesia

Chiyoda Corp. (Chiyoda) announced Tuesday that the company has been awarded a contract by BP Berau Ltd. (as Operator of Tangguh PSC Contractors) for the Onshore Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) contract for Indonesia's Tangguh Expansion Project (Tangguh LNG Train 3) in consortium with PT. Chiyoda International Indonesia, a wholly owned subsidiary of Chiyoda group and PT. Tripatra Engineers and Constructors, PT. Tripatra Engineering, PT. Saipem Indonesia and PT. Suluh Ardhi Engineering (jointly called CSTS).

Tangguh LNG Train 3 with liquefaction capacity of 3.8 million tons per annum (Mtpa) will be built at Tangguh site, which is located in Papua Barat Province of Indonesia.

CSTS will execute the FEED work of Tangguh LNG Train 3 for 12 months, which also encompasses LNG jetty and associated infrastructure.

Aiming for EPC contract, Chiyoda will execute the FEED work with our FEED and EPC experience accumulated from numerous LNG projects in the world.
