In response to the ever-increasing demand for an ocean alternative, Argosy Transportation Group announced Thursday the inaugural sailing of Argosy Campeche Line with the first cut-off set for Oct. 24. Utilizing modern shallow drafted multi-purpose tween deckers, Argosy Campeche Line will offer twice-monthly service from Houston to the ports of Dos Bocas and Ciudad del Carmen. The service provides shippers a maritime solution for their cargoes with fast, efficient and cost effective transportation into this rapidly growing area. Bulk, breakbulk, oversized and container shipments will be accepted targeting the oil and gas industry and their particular wants. With a fast three day transit, Argosy is committed to meeting the unique needs of their customers and providing them with the highest levels of service. Argosy Campeche Line will meet the requirements of this growing field by expanding the options for oil and gas service providers and reducing over the road transportation risks.
“This service will provide direct, reliable ocean transportation while reducing the costs and risks of current transportation options,” said Rider Griswold, President of Argosy Transportation Group.
