CEO: Subsea 7 Keen on Taking Part in Sector Consolidation

OSLO, Sept 11 (Reuters) – More consolidation in the oil and gas service industry is likely and Subsea 7 would be keen to participate but is not involved in any current process, Chief Executive Jean Cahuzac told Reuters on Thursday.

"Any consolidation is good for the business," Cahuzac told Reuters on the sidelines of an energy conference. "I think we are going to see more consolidation in the future. But it is hard to say when and how."

"Personally, if we could participate in consolidation, we would be doing it," he added. "But today there is nothing ongoing."
