Leni Drills 5th Well in Trinidad Development Campaign

Trinidad-focused Leni Gas & Oil announced Thursday that well GY-668, the fifth well in its 30-well development campaign at the Goudron field, has been successfully drilled to a depth of 1,946 feet.

Leni said that the well intersected 191 feet of net oil pay in the Goudron Sandstones.

The well has been cased to a depth of 1,936 feet in order to isolate the Goudron Sandstone and is being prepared before it drills through to the primary Gros Morne Sandstone oil target, which is expected at approximately 2,150 feet.

Leni Chief Executive Neil Ritson commented in a company statement:

"We are continuing to deliver a successful drilling program at Goudron and are now looking forward to completing these four wells for production."
