Polarcus Completes UK Seismic Program for TGS

Seismic vessel operator Polarcus reported Wednesday that its 3D seismic vessel Polarcus Naila has recently completed a two-month program for Norway's TGS-NOPEC, towing a large 12-streamer spread off the UK's Shetland Islands.

Polarcus said the program comprised two individual surveys, each employing a variable-depth streamer spread with a linear gradient from 39.3 feet to 98.4 feet.

The firm added that the program was completed ahead of schedule.
