Norway's Gassco Delays Major Gas Maintenance by 1 Day

Reuters

OSLO, July 30 (Reuters) – Norwegian gas system operator Gassco will start a round of maintenance work involving 124 million cubic metres per day one day later than earlier planned, it said in a market message on Wednesday.

The work will stay on Aug 1 instead of July 31, and end on Aug. 3 instead of Aug. 2.

Although Gassco did not name the field under maintenance, it likely involved Statoil's Troll, the country's biggest gas field.

The outage has been rescheduled several times as work depends on good weather conditions.
